“Mobiel Kwestie is an orthopaedic company specialising in mobility aids including three- and four-wheel bicycles. Our company is based in Diksmuide and operates throughout West & East Vlaanderen, Belgium. We offer demo models, including the Huka Cortes and Huka City, which can be tested both at our premises and on site. If there is interest in other models, we are happy to arrange a demonstration at the manufacturer’s premises!” said Andries of Mobiel Kwestie.
“Mobiel Kwestie, located in Diksmuide – West Vlaanderen, Belgium, was founded by my father, a physiotherapist who later worked as a director at Orthotaal. At Orthotaal, they assist children and adults with disabilities. This is where he was introduced to technical orthopaedics, which eventually laid the foundation for Mobiel Kwestie. In 2009, we started as a secondary profession, first with private clients and later with collaborations with healthcare institutions, pharmacies and home nurses,” says Andries De Muynck.
“Today, we are recognised by all health care funds and the VAPH. Besides studying Orthopaedics, I also have a technical background, which has led to a greater focus on repairs and service. This is how our on-call service “Permanent On Wheels” (POW) was born, which is also available on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and holidays for urgent interventions. Our team now consists of five people, and we hope to continue this growth in the coming years. Active in West & East Flanders, we aim to reach and support more and more people in their search for the most suitable mobility aid. Our motto is therefore “matter of being mobile,” and in doing so we assist people from A to Z. Our mission is to provide the highest possible percentage of self-reliance and independence by providing the most suitable orthopaedic aid!”
