“I, Bart Daems, started the Wieleke in 1993. By 1 January 2022, we will be called Bike Republic. At that time still in my parents’ garage. The 1st shop is in Laakdal (1000 square metres) and the 2nd shop in Diest (1700 square metres) with an indoor test centre. You can test various Huka tricycles in our indoor test centre. Think of the Cortes tricycle, Vasco tricycle, the AT children’s tricycle, the Copilot 24 and the Copilot 24-3 and 26-3. Test riding in bad weather conditions is therefore not a problem,” said Bart Daems.
“It is also possible to test ride outside with us. Our test centre in Diest is located on a cycle junction network with very beautiful hilly surroundings. An ideal environment to experience whether the Huka in question suits you.”
“Do you have a restriction or disability? No fear, we have a suitable solution for almost everything. Our workshop is well equipped and equipped with 3d printer, metalworking and, of course, the necessary knowledge. We also employ workers who have worked as nurses. So appropriate handling of disability is not a challenge for us but a pleasure to search with.”
