New: Child seat for the Orthros

Good news for families, care homes and carers: the child seat for the Orthros is now available. With this new seat unit, children can also ride safely and comfortably on the Orthros, making cycling together possible for an even wider group of people.

Flexible and easily interchangeable

The child seat is fully interchangeable with the adult seat unit. This allows the Orthros to be easily adapted to different users and situations, without the need for a separate bike.

Designed to grow with the child

Flexibility, comfort and safety were central to the development of the child seat. To adapt perfectly to the child’s growth, various components are adjustable. For example, the backrest angle and inner leg length can be adjusted, and the seat depth is easy to change using an insert cushion.

Safe and comfortable on the go

For extra safety, the child seat comes fitted as standard with a fold-down safety bar. In addition, the pedalling resistance can be adjusted as required, ensuring cycling remains comfortable for both child and adult.

The child seat can be fitted with various support components, including:

• Safety harness for extra security
• Fold-down safety bar
• Adjustable pedalling resistance
• Optional footrests for extra stability
• Crank shorteners

This allows the seat unit to be optimally tailored to the user’s wishes and needs.
